Booking terms

Last updated 3 November 2026. These terms are between your school and RDZZ LTD (company number 14352914, 483 Green Lanes, London, England, N13 4BS), which runs Make Day Lab.

What you're booking

A Make Day is the lab for one school day, for up to four classes (about 120 pupils), with all six labs. A Make Week is the lab for five school days in a row, for every class, up to 20 class sessions. It includes your own class and teacher codes, the teacher guide and worksheets, the class Arcade, family links that work for 30 days, a file of every creation for your school, a 20-minute setup call, and our safety and data pack.

Price and payment

£295 per school day, or £795 for a Make Week. We invoice you after your day (or week), quoting your purchase order if you give us one, and the invoice is payable by bank transfer within 30 days. If your staff don't think it was worth it, tell us within 7 days of your day and we cancel the invoice. Each tablet has a set number of builds and changes per session, which is plenty for a 45 to 60 minute lesson; the cost of the AI is included.

Changing or cancelling

• You can move your day for free with at least 5 school days' notice.
• You can cancel for free up to 10 school days before your day. Later than that, the day is charged in full unless we can move it for you.
• If the lab can't run on your day because of a problem on our side, we rebook you for free and don't charge for the day it failed.

Your part

• An adult from your school runs and supervises every session.
• You provide the devices, internet access, and a board or projector for the Arcade, and ask your IT support to allow the lab's address through your web filter.
• You follow your own safeguarding policy, including acting on any concern flag the lab shows.
• You use your codes only for your pupils on your day, and remind pupils not to type personal details.

Our part

• We set up your codes and check with you that the lab gets through your web filter before your day.
• We run the lab with the safety checks described on our safety and data page.
• We reply to you within one working day, and treat safety reports as urgent.
• We delete your Make Day's data 30 days after your day, after giving you a file of every creation.

Pupils' work

Pupils' ideas, drawings and creations are theirs and your school's. We don't claim them or use them for anything but running your day, and we never use them in our marketing.

The AI

Creations are built by Make Day AI. AI can make mistakes. Creations are for learning and play, and should be tested by the pupils who made them and supervised by your staff.

Data protection

During your Make Day your school is the controller and RDZZ LTD is your processor. We process pupils' data only on your instructions, keep it confidential and secure, use only the sub-processors named in our privacy notice, help you with requests and incidents, and delete the data as described. We'll sign a separate data processing agreement if you'd like one.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow to be limited. Otherwise, our total liability for a booking is limited to the price you paid for it.

The free try

The free try on this website is there to let you see the lab. It's provided as it is, it may change or be limited at any time, and it shouldn't be used with a class.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
